A cord is used inside the umbrella rather than a rope for superior durability. There are 40 inches from the ground to the crank mechanism.

The umbrella has a 2-year limited warranty that covers workmanship and material quality. This warranty does not cover wind damage or normal wear and tear. Umbrella ribs are excluded from this warranty and not covered. Replacement ribs and poles can be purchased for non-warranty related issues.
Sunbrella fabric has a 5-year warranty against fading. Suncrylic has 1-year warranty.
